At Unionville Community High School in Tennessee a memorable gesture was made by three High School Seniors, one of whom was about to be elected as Homecoming King. Jesse Cooper, Drew Gibbs and Zeke Grissom proved why they were in the running for this role.
On basketball night, which is when Unionville Community High School elects the Homecoming King, the three Seniors put their heads together and decided to give the crown to Scotty Malone.
Scotty is a Junior at Unionville High, who was born with Williams Syndrome. Due to this fact Scotty has some cognitive disabilities and a remarkably cheerful personality; he is very popular with all his fellow students and a true star at the High School.
Scotty smiles even more these days and he always wears his Homecoming King medal around his neck. He will never ever forget Jesse Cooper, Drew Gibbs and Zeke Grissom and the night they made the “Royal” gesture of electing him Homecoming King.
